DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Paint the Town Banner Event\, a community art project for all ages and talents to create colorful banners to be hung throughout Jessamine County’s Downtowns\, will be held Thursday\, June 20th at the Blue Building at the City/County Park in Nicholasville. Painting times will be 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. This year\, we again will have both city banner options: City of Wilmore with 24” x 48” banners\, or City of Nicholasville with 30″ x 77″ banners.Participant applications are now being accepted\, and there are a limited number of spots available. Applications are available at the Jessamine County Courthouse (101 North Main Street\, Nicholasville) for those interested in completing banners for Nicholasville\, and at the Wilmore Municipal Center (210 S Lexington Ave\, Wilmore) for those interested in completing banners for Wilmore. \nFor more information please contact Justin Ray at 859-533-5184.
