DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that R. J. Corman Railroad Group will once again be proudly hosting Nicholasville’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show. We are honored to celebrate of our nation and our freedoms by showcasing an exceptional fireworks display from our headquarters. \nThe fireworks will be launched on Thursday\, July 4th\, 2024\, at the R. J. Corman Nicholasville Farm\, with our iconic display trains in full view\, just like last year. \nLimited parking will be available for free on the R. J. Corman property near the launch site. No tickets are required for entry\, and the gate will remain open from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (or until capacity is reached). You can find the entrance at the Wilmore Road (KY-29) intersection and April Highway\, across from the Lone Oak subdivision entrance (refer to the map included below or click here to open the entrance location on Google Maps). The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. \nWe extend our sincere thanks to the Nicholasville Police Department\, Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office\, Jessamine County EMS\, Wilmore Police Department\, and the Nicholasville Fire Department for their invaluable assistance in making this community event possible. \nWe kindly request that all attendees adhere to the instructions and recommendations provided by officials. Please note that R. J. Corman’s facilities are designated as tobacco-free zones; this includes e-cigarettes. Additionally\, the use of fireworks\, grills\, and tents of any kind is strictly prohibited. DESCRIPTION:The Wilmore Farmers Market opens its season on the first Saturday of May and continues every Saturday – rain or shine – through the last Saturday in October.  The market is  located on E. Main St. adjacent to the railroad tracks\, and is open 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Expect to find locally grown produce and locally hand crafted items such as eggs\, local honey\, baked goods\, ornamental trees\, pottery\, artwork\, fabric crafts\, lettuce\, other greens\, chicken\, cut flowers\, herbs\, bedding plants. New items are added throughout the growing season.  Also\, there will be special one-time guest vendors promoting events and organizations or providing entertainment!
