DESCRIPTION:The 3rd Annual Jessamine County Agriculture Tour will be held on Friday\, September 26. The tour will start at 8:30 am at the Jessamine County Extension Office at 333 Fairgrounds Way and return at 4:30 pm. Participation is limited to 40 persons\, so reservations are on a first come\, first serve basis. Please Call the Extension Office at (859) 885-4811 to reserve a spot. Lunch will be provided\, thanks to a generous donation by the Jessamine County Farm Bureau and the grilling skills of the Jessamine County Cattlemen’s Association members. There will be an optional wine tasting at the Ghost Fox Winery at $10/person\, paid directly to the winery. Main St. adjacent to the railroad tracks\, and is open 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Expect to find locally grown produce and locally hand crafted items such as eggs\, local honey\, baked goods\, ornamental trees\, pottery\, artwork\, fabric crafts\, lettuce\, other greens\, chicken\, cut flowers\, herbs\, bedding plants. New items are added throughout the growing season.  Also\, there will be special one-time guest vendors promoting events and organizations or providing entertainment!
