Grab the kids and head over to High Bridge Park this weekend, August 20-21 for the annual High Bridge Homecoming Festival–a free, family-friendly festival that’s packed with live entertainment, children’s activities, arts and crafts—and more. This year’s festival offers live entertainment, food concessions, displays, demonstrations of martial arts, Irish dancing, and baton twirling, model train exhibit, free children’s activities, “Art in the Park”, silent auctions, raffles and crafts by local artisans–even a short “paddle” trip up the Kentucky River.
A special feature to this year’s festival will be a FREE concert by The Lawman on Saturday at 6:00 pm. The Lawmen are full-time, professional musicians who serve as ambassadors of Norfolk Southern Railroad. They log 250 performances a year and have appeared on The Grand Ole Opry.
