City of Wilmore residents are invited to enjoy free disposal of residential debris during the County-wide Clean-up by bringing it to 305 West Linden St. from Saturday, March 24 through Saturday, March 31 (7:30 AM – 7 PM).
The free disposal during the County-wide Clean-up is available to residents only. During the clean-up, restrictions will be placed on the types of debris accepted at the designated dumping sites. Absolutely no commercial debris (shingles, dry wall, etc.) will be accepted. Bricks, concrete block, and asphalt, wet paint, dirt, normal household waste (daily trash and food garbage, etc.), storm brush and tires are also unacceptable items.
Residents wishing to dispose of tires, dry wall, shingles, wet paint, and other commercial debris may do so by bringing it to the Jessamine County Convenience Center, 127 Hendren Way, Nicholasville, on Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM and Saturday from 8 AM – 12 Noon. Charges will be at the normal rate. Limbs and brush can be dropped off free of charge at the City of Nicholasville Waste Water Treatment Plant on Long Shun, Nicholasville on Saturday, March 24 to Saturday, March 31 from 7:30 AM – 7 PM and CLOSED on Sunday, March 25.
