DESCRIPTION:Steve Flairty has traveled the state and collected stories of what it means to be a Kentuckian with a heart and soul—ordinary people who have made a positive difference\, living unselfish lives and overcoming obstacles. In his talk\, Flairty shares many of these inspirational profiles\, often selecting individuals from audience members’ communities who have been featured in his Kentucky’s Everyday Heroes book series. This program was funded in part by the Kentucky Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
