DESCRIPTION:Join us for the official ribbon cutting and dedication of the solar panels on the Dan Glass Pavilion behind the Wilmore Municipal Center!  There will be solar education\, give aways and refreshments to help us celebrate this community funded project! \n  \n\nLATEST UPDATE – \n\nA Give-Back to Wilmore Project  – January 2026 Update \nOur solar project is complete!\nAs you can see by the pictures\, our Solar Over Wilmore Project at the\nDan Glass Pavilion was completed as of Friday\, December 19\, 2025.\nThe crew of Commonwealth Solar LLC under the direction of owner\, Dan\nWier\, guided the men to install seventy 590-watt solar panels on the roof of\nthe pavilion in cold but dry weather for a total of 41.3 KW of solar energy\ngeneration. They were also able to run all the wire into the City Hall\nbuilding and connect it to the two inverters and the electrical service panel.\nNext\, we await the Jessamine County Electrical Inspector to come and do\nthe required inspection. We will announce a Ribbon Cutting ceremony\nearly in 2026. We will be placing all donors’ names on recognition plaques\nat the pavilion and one inside City Hall. \nThanks for your prayers and financial support in 2024 and 2025.
