Wilmore’s annual Arts & Crafts Festival will be held on October 1, 2016, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on East Main Street. Expect to see a wide variety of juried vendors with hand crafted quality items. Live music scheduled for the full day. Local restaurants on East Main will be open throughout the day, as well as other food vendors. Visit the Farmers’ Market and the Caboose Museum, both of which will be open until 12 noon. East Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic and visitors can stroll at leisure to shop. Relax and eat at the tables and chairs provided near the rail tracks on East Main while enjoying the variety of free music provided. Children can enjoy complimentary horse rides on the Downtown Green between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., provided by the Asbury University Equine Center. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to The Providence School on S. Lexington Avenue in Wilmore.
