Jessamine County Historical Society Chili Cookoff

The annual Jessamine County Chili Cookoff will be held on Saturday, October 10 at noon at the High Bridge Community Association Center. Come place your vote for the best chili of 2026 — will it be Nicholasville, High Bridge, Wilmore, Keene, or a mystery entry?
For $10 per adult (children 12 and under are free), attendees can enjoy samples of every chili offered, plus desserts and a beverage — a full meal deal!
Guest speaker John Compton, stone mason and administrative assistant for the Dry Stone Conservatory, will share the history and techniques behind Jessamine County’s historic rock fences.
