Jessamine MLK Celebration

Martin Luther King Day will be celebrated for Jessamine County in Wilmore this year at Wilmore Methodist Church. Breakfast will be from 930am to 11 and it’s free (donations welcome) and the service will go from 11 to 12. Pastor Marland Fain of Cedar Tops Baptist Church in Wilmore, will be delivering an address. There will be congregational singing and readings by area youth from Martin Luther King Jr.’s works. Also: Reverend Anthony Givens (Cedar Tops) is organizing the food if anybody would like to bring a dish. If bringing a dish, please bring in a large aluminum chafing dish that fits in a wire chafing stand. Food should be dropped off around 9:15 AM.
