The KCAL Old Time Radio Troupe recreates old time radio shows the way they were originally performed back in the 40s and 50s. Since it’s opening show in December of 2014, KCAL, under the production and direction of Doug Fain and Norman & Denise Cline, opens the doors of its downtown Nicholasville theater 4 weekends a year, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Christmas. Each weekend brings four show times to sold out crowds. The troupe also performs live yearly at the First Vineyard Winery in Jessamine County. KCAL produces a live Gospel Sing each year to benefit the Jessamine County Schools Homeless Education program. None of the performers, directors or producers receive any compensation as they give their time and talents for the advancement of arts in Jessamine County.
