Water Conservation Lifted

Wilmore’s Notice of Water Conservation is lifted!

Wilmore Utilities would like to thank you for your efforts in reducing water usage over the last three days.  The flooding along the Kentucky River had put our River Pump Station at risk. We had KU disconnect our power supply to protect vital electrical equipment on Sunday evening, prompting the Notice of Conservation.

On Wednesday afternoon we were able to restore power and energize our River Pumps and begin filling our reservoir to normal operational levels.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those that have lost so much due to this most recent flooding.
